It’s gettin’ quite gloomy here tonight
The beginning of a new year
Will it be mine
Reflections on what lies behind
The good and the bad
Happy and sad
I’ve been crying desperately
I’ve been fightin’ for my rights
My faith and pride
Now I’m on my way
To make a brand new start
Some people had to go
Leaving just traces of their lives
And the tears of their loved ones
Unendurable gaps
Why do they steal and betray
Causin' harm and destruction and pain

Does this have to be
