Who will be sitting
On the branch of our cherry tree
A place of refuge
When things were just depressing me
I just sat there with millions of stars
I close my eyes
Still feel the summer breeze caressing me
An owl singing
My angry father calling me
It was my shelter for countless hours
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
The world keeps on turning
What will remain
When much has passed
Who will be wearing
My red dress and the silver shoes
Silky treasures
Revealed on days without the blues
I hear the music, oh, life's a dance
And the sound of the tap-tapping
On marble ground
The giggle of my sister
As we’re spinning `round and `round
Oh, the band played
Oh, I’ve missed no chance
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
The world keeps on turning
What will remain
